Komatsu has been present in China for 60 years, and during that time it has been one of the most committed and longest established foreign manufacturers in the country. This report is an update of the profile that Off-Highway Research last published in 2004, and reviews its operations in recent years, with a focus on its construction and mining equipment businesses, while its other machinery sectors are briefly described where appropriate to reflect the company’s whole operation in China.
