This report is an update of the study last undertaken by Off-Highway Research in September 2021, and its findings are based on an extensive interview programme undertaken with major manufacturers and importers, as well as dealers, in the first half of 2022. The mini excavators covered in this report have operating weights up to 6 tonnes and are capable of being turned through 360 degrees. The machines may be mounted on steel or rubber tracks, or on wheels which are sold on very small numbers.
