This is the fourth profile published in the European Service of the construction equipment operations in Europe of the Korean company Hyundai Construction Equipment (HCE) and is an update of the profile last published in June 2016. The company was established in 1992, and since then has undergone many changes which the report analyses, together with an analysis of the company’s long-term future.

The report concentrates on the activities of the company that is based in Belgium. The strategy for the company’s operation in Europe will be highlighted as well explaining some of the decisions that have been taken in the past. This report is not a profile of Hyundai Construction Equipment itself, but the European construction equipment activities that form a division of the parent company, and so certain aspects of the Korean parent will be included.
