This report examines in detail the Indian market for asphalt finishers, and is an update of the Off-Highway Research study that was last published in May 2019. The report covers both wheeled and tracked (crawler) machines and includes mechanical finishers.

There are many small local manufacturers of asphalt finishers, and together they have significant sales volume. Sales and production of a number of such suppliers have been included in the report.

The findings presented are based on Off-Highway Research’s database, and information collected through a series of in-depth interviews conducted with the industry’s leading manufacturers and suppliers in March and April 2021.
