This is an update of Off-Highway Research’s report on the market in China for offhighway dump trucks that was last published in September 2022. The study focuses on both rigid and articulated types, but does not cover underground trucks, nor the so-called wide bodied trucks (WBTs) that have become so popular in the country, although their influence on the market for off-highway dump trucks is discussed. The payload of dump trucks included in this report is measured in metric tonnes. The report’s findings are based on information collected through interviews with major manufacturers and suppliers, as well as some of their key distributors.
