This is an update of the profile of Komatsu India Private Limited (KIPL) that was last published by Off-Highway Research in September 2010.

KIPL is a subsidiary of Komatsu Ltd, Japan. Komatsu Ltd has been in operation for over 100 years, whose principal business interests are in construction and mining equipment, and industrial machinery.

The report covers KIPL’s construction and mining business activities in the country. It excludes Komatsu Mining Corp business operated through Joy Global (India) Private Ltd, which focuses on surface and underground mining products.
