This report concerns the market for agricultural tractors in India, and is an update of the subject last covered by Off-Highway Research in May 2022. It reviews the key trends that have taken place during 2019-2023 and offers a forecast to 2028.

This report covers all ride-on agricultural tractors (only over 15 horsepower tractors were considered before 2019) and excludes power tillers. Company specifications of some of their agricultural tractors show horsepower categories but not the exact engine horsepower, so actual horsepower may vary in some cases in the ‘Models Available’ section. However, it will not impact analysis by category discussed in various sections of this report.

The findings in this report are based on Off-Highway Research’s database and the research conducted during in March and April 2024.
