Peru has experienced significant economic growth in recent decades, resulting in increased investment in infrastructure. Projects such as highways, bridges, airports, ports, mining, and energy initiatives have driven demand for construction equipment. Consequently, Peru has emerged as a key market for the South American construction equipment industry.

The objective of this report is to provide a concise overview of the development of the construction equipment industry in Peru since 2019, analysing the significant changes that have occurred and those which are likely to occur by 2028.

Following an initial phase of desk research, Off-Highway Research conducted an extensive field research program in Peru in April 2024.
