This is the sixth profile of HD Hyundai Infracore’s (formerly Doosan Infracore) activities in Europe published by Off-Highway Research, and is an update of the previous study published in April 2019. It is the first to be published since the company’s acquisition by HD Hyundai Group in 2021 and since the rebranding in 2023 of the company’s construction equipment product range from Doosan to Develon.

The sales and marketing of Develon products, namely excavators, wheeled loaders, articulated dump trucks and crawler dozers are administered by HD Hyundai Infracore Europe s.r.o., whose headquarters are located in Prague, Czech Republic. This European subsidiary company reports directly to its parent company in South Korea.

The sales and marketing of Hyundai brand construction equipment in Europe are carried out by a separate subsidiary company, HD Hyundai Construction Equipment Europe, whose regional headquarters is situated in Tessenderlo, Belgium. The Develon and Hyundai brands operate entirely independently of each other on a global basis, and compete directly against one another in all markets.
