The Spanish construction equipment market has experienced many significant changes over the last 25 years. From the heights of the extraordinary boom period in the early 2000s, to the long years of depression which lasted until 2014, when signs of a recovery were finally seen. Interviewing local distributors in the Summer 2025, the market has still not forgotten those fluctuations, but now the market is only 40 per cent of what it was at its height in 2007, before the global financial crisis.
