This report concerns the market for agricultural tractors in India and is an update of the subject last covered by Off-Highway Research in May 2024. It reviews the key trends that have taken place during 2021-2025 and offers a forecast to 2030.

This report covers all ride-on agricultural tractors, but excludes power tillers. Company specifications of some of their agricultural tractors show horsepower categories but not the exact engine horsepower, so actual horsepower may vary in some cases in the ‘Models Available’ section. However, it will not impact analysis by category discussed in various sections of this report.

The findings in this report are based on Off-Highway Research’s database and the research programme conducted during March and April 2026.
